Walking Into God's Wild, Beautiful Plans

✨ For the sons and daughters of the King who secretly wish God would just send a PDF with step-by-step instructions. ✨

When God Calls, It’s Usually Wild.

Sometimes the call is loud — a full-blown spiritual siren. Other times, it sneaks in during the soft, sleepy morning hours when your phone is still on Do Not Disturb and the only sound is your kettle clicking off.

But whether it’s chaos or calm, the message is the same:

"Child, I’ve set you apart. Now let’s go do something eternal."

He might ask you to build something no one’s ever done before — like Noah, hammering away at a boat in the middle of nowhere while people walked past like, “Okay but… is he okay??”

Or maybe you’ll be called to free people. Not with plagues (please no), but with words, encouragement, truth — like Moses, whose voice shook empires because God stood with him.

Maybe your moment is Esther’s: quiet bravery wrapped in royal robes. Or Peter’s: loud, impulsive, and still trusted to help launch the actual Church.

Cue the Panic (It’s Normal)

Most of us, upon hearing God’s voice, respond with one of the following:

“Are You sure You meant me?”

“I’m gonna need more context.”

“GOD PLEASE GIVE ME A CLEAR SIGN.”

Because walking into purpose doesn’t feel like a glamorous movie montage. It feels like fear and faith showing up at the same time. It feels like saying yes with shaky hands. It feels like stepping out with no map, just a whisper and a promise.

Here’s the plot twist:

You’re not walking into chaos.

You’re walking into a blueprint.

Designed by the same God who parted seas, shut lion mouths, and walked on water in the middle of a storm like it was a casual Tuesday.

He knows what He’s doing.

It Takes Guts (and Grace)

This isn’t about being confident in yourself all the time. It’s about being convinced of God’s faithfulness.

Walking in purpose is not cute or easy or Instagram-filtered. It’s gritty. It’s God-sustained. It’s showing up again and again when you feel too young, too tired, too confused, or too not enough.

It’s the kind of obedience that makes people side-eye you while Heaven stands and applauds.

Because choosing to live fully for God in a world that tells you to live for likes? That’s holy rebellion. That’s bold. That’s Kingdom stuff.

The Wilderness Isn’t the End — It’s the Way

You might be in a season that feels like a desert right now. Waiting, wandering, unsure. But bestie, the wilderness has never been a waste of time. It’s a launchpad. A refining fire. A holding space for world-changers who are being shaped before they’re sent.

Like Joshua, your instructions might be simple:

“Be strong and courageous.”

That’s it. Not “Be flawless” or “Have it all figured out.”

Just be brave.

Because God isn’t calling you to impress people.

He’s calling you to trust Him.

And He walks beside you every step of the way. No ghosting. No disappearing. Just pillar-of-cloud, fire-by-night, I’m right here, kind of presence.

A Little Prayer for the Road

Father, You’ve got this. And — You’ve also got me.

In the quiet, in the chaos, in the calling that feels way too big — I say yes. I may not feel bold, but You are. I may not know the way, but You do. So give me lions courage. Give me eyes to see the blueprint and not just the dust. And when I want to run, remind me that You’ve already walked ahead. I’ll follow. With joy. With wobble. With all my heart.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Boarding Pass to Grace

I remember the exact moment I realized my writing journey wasn’t just about chasing dreams or hammering out clever sentences on a keyboard. It was a full-on divine flight plan — a God-ordained trip into the unknown where He was the Captain, and I was strapped in for a flight I could never have booked myself. If you’ve ever held a boarding pass, you know the thrill of anticipation mixed with nerves. The gate might change. The weather might turn stormy. And the announcements over the loudspeaker? Sometimes crystal clear. Sometimes, you’re left wondering what language they’re speaking. That’s exactly how it feels when you say yes to writing with God in the co-pilot seat. The Keyboard Is My Boarding Pass Every time I open my laptop, it feels like clutching a boarding pass to an unknown destination. The cursor blinks at me like a little runway light, daring me to take off. But the thing is — I’m not always sure where this flight is headed. Sometimes the destination is a manuscript, someti...
